The ZV-E10 II features Sony’s most advanced sensor technology in an APS-C back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor with approximately 26.0 megapixels.
The latest BIONZ XR image processing engine delivers extraordinary detail and sharpness and packs a standard ISO range that extends from 100 to 32000. Thanks to the high-speed readout, 5.6K oversampling compresses a vast amount of information into stunning 4K 60p footage (QFHD: 3840 x 2160).
From the G Master™ series, which blends breathtaking resolution with exquisite bokeh, to the G Lens™ series with first-class image quality, the ZV-E10 II is compatible with a wide range of E-mount lenses from Sony. The ZV-E10 II lens kit comes with the versatile E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II zoom lens.
The Creative Look function makes it simple to create expressive moods for stills and movies in-camera, offering 10 presets that can be used as they are or customised. Try the My Image Style function for further expressive versatility. When shooting in the Intelligent Auto or Scene Selection mode, it allows the background bokeh, brightness, and colour tone to be easily adjusted via icons on the touch screen.
Cinematic Vlog Setting provides an intuitive way to create cinematic vlog footage without having to deal with complex camera settings. Take advantage of “Looks” such as S-Cinetone™ that enhances skin tones, or “Moods” that emphasise specific colours to create cinematic vlog footage to match the scene and your vision.
The latest BIONZ XR image processing engine and optimised algorithms produce notably improved AF performance. A high-density array of 759 focal plane phase-detection AF points ensures consistently smooth, precise focus.
Real-time Eye AF recognises—with high precision—the faces and eyes of humans, as well as the eyes of animals and birds, for consistently accurate and reliable focus. Real-time Tracking ensures that focus is maintained on the subject as it moves around in the frame.
The camera consistently depicts colours and textures of human skin no matter the lighting. With upgraded gradation rendering capabilities, it captures better looking skin tones and highlight roll-off in portraits, while skin tones are independently optimised for stills and movies.
With up to 120 fps capture in clear XAVC-S Full HD quality, you can record stunning motion sequences using the S&Q mode at 5x slow motion (24p playback). Time-lapse sequences can be created in-camera and the exposure interval can be set from 1 second to 60 seconds. Continuous still shooting with the camera’s electronic shutter is possible at up to 11 fps with full AF/AE tracking.
Active Mode electronic image stabilisation employs a precision gyroscope and advanced algorithm to accurately measure and compensate for camera shake, providing highly effective stabilisation without sacrificing mobility, even when shooting 4K. With compatible lenses, breathing compensation automatically compensates for minor angle-of-view shifts when the lens focus changes, delivering distraction-free, rack focusing.
An advanced 3-capsule microphone offers excellent pickup and noise reduction performance, making it easier than ever to record clear, high-quality audio. Select Auto or choose from Front, Rear, or All Directions settings to match a variety of recording situations and environments.
The ZV-E10 II is supplied with a windscreen to significantly reduce noise when shooting in outdoor situations. For more versatile audio capture, digital audio interfaces are supported by the camera’s Multi Interface (Ml) Shoe, enabling direct transfer of high-quality digital audio with minimal degradation to the camera from external microphones, such as the optional ECM series.
The ZV-E10 II supports a range of recording formats, including 10-bit 4:2:2 video and All-Intra compression at up to 4K 60p. Metadata can be imported, enabling efficient post-production in software like Catalyst Browse, Catalyst Prepare / Plugin and Master Cut.
The wide dynamic range of S-Log3 recording can bring out the best in captured footage, allowing powerful post processing flexibility for truly refined movie imagery.
